I'm very sorry to hear this. He was part of the first team set-up when I started following Palace. I attended his testimonial game in around 1966, which I recall was against an International XI.

Pete, do you remember what the score was in that game ? I recall going to a testimonial around that time, but can't remember whose it was...game I went to ended 5-5 !

I didn't see him play but what a career for us. RIP Terry and enjoy the lush green pitches up there.

Thanks eagleman13 and Chris123 - I was only 9 years old and maybe there was 8 goals in the game and not 10 ! It was my first ever visit to Selhurst is all I do know for sure
