Still needs replacing in January in my opinion. (As it looks like we're never gonna see Ferguson) He's a weak link for us.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

Ward is a reliable defender, but his passing is not up for it. Simple as that and if any, our weak link in the back four.

Thought he played well yesterday and he is improving his game going forward with his role changing to more like a wing back role which I think is remarkable to be improving at his age.

always liked him saved us loads of times with goal line clearances, but still, we need to replace with younger if Fergie isn't recovering well, we need to buy another (younger)

Joel Ward has been a magnificent servant of the club and his performances this season have, in the main, been pretty good. I do agree that we should be looking at cover/future replacement but I don't tend to feel worried when I see his name in the starting 11 as I know he will put in a shift. I hope we see Ferguson in contention in the coming weeks - if only for his sake as this must have been a pretty rough time for him.
Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that. |

Was good yesterday. Clyne also back so that is another option. Regarding Ferguson don't think we will see him much this season. He had a serious injury so when he is available he will most likely come off the bench last 15 20 mins most of the season. Same with Eze for him to be back first team it will take at least 5 to 6 games. Olise had a injury that wasn't that serious but he PV is slowly getting him into the team e.g. off bench vs Spurs, playing under 23 and then off bench Liverpool. With players like Eze and Ferguson it will be the same but for them to start it may take more than 6 games.
