Thought I’d pass this on since there are a few people who are regular gym visitors.

Waiter curls - if you haven’t tried these give them a go. They’re really effective.

How does this differ from 2 dumbbells normally raised from arms straight to bicep by bringing the forearms and hands closer with one dumbbell?

One that I forget to do is sitting down and lifting the dumbbells turned so they’re lifted in line with your arm so that one of the weights goes to nearly touch your bicep at the top of the rep. This builds up the muscle area at the top of your forearm near your elbow.

It takes out everything but the bicep. You get quite a burn from them and can do kneeling and spider curl variants.
Yours sound like hammer curls?

Yeah hammer curls. I’ll try to remember these waiter curls.

If you want bigger biceps, I'd do close grip chins with low reps personally. Just my opinion.

Something we agree on for a change, Hrolf.
Full range CG Chins are the best bicep exercise IMO. Such a small, insignificant muscle group compared to others, doesn't need a lot of stimulation/isolation

Fair enough but these days I’d be reduced to walking football which might be great but looks like something out of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.

age relevant i guess.
i use weights about 4-5 days a week in my garage.
easy to get in there and bash it for 20 mins to an hour depending on how i feel after work.
I know if i had to be arsed to go elsewhere I probably wouldnt do it , so I can stick with it or blow out if its just not feeling right.

Good call, I do these too. And thank God you do. How else would you fend off the hoodlums and jive talkers waiting around every corner?
