How does this differ from 2 dumbbells normally raised from arms straight to bicep by bringing the forearms and hands closer with one dumbbell? One that I forget to do is sitting down and lifting the dumbbells turned so they’re lifted in line with your arm so that one of the weights goes to nearly touch your bicep at the top of the rep. This builds up the muscle area at the top of your forearm near your elbow.

If you want bigger biceps, I'd do close grip chins with low reps personally. Just my opinion.
