Why would it? Isn't it colloquially called 'Britain in the sun'. Or something like that? My issue with 'staycations' is cost. Massively inflated at present. The saying 'you get what you pay for' is not true in this instance.

My issues are firstly the weather which isn't guaranteed unlike Continental Europe and secondly service as pubs and restaurants open in the UK to suit themselves and not the customers

Everyones different. Some would practically fall apart without their foreign holidays, others love to explore the UK. Horses for courses as they say!

We should do what the French do and classify overseas territories as actually part of the country. Hence Reunion and other such places are legally part of France and any flight there is classified as an internal flight.
hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing. |

Was stationed in Gib years ago, been back a few times, lovely place. If you want something totally different, try this floating palace . . . Its smaller sister is moored next to the Excel Ctr in London.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

There were problems after problems. Just couldn't help but complain. The list just wouldn't fit here.
