Surely the Club need to put out an announcement about stock of replica kits or preferably, bin off their cheap as chips nonsense deal with Vietnam and get them made somewhere in the UK (at £55 a time you'd still make a profit). I have never ever known it to be unable to buy the Home Kit at all for the start of a new season, let alone several weeks in and the Third Kit, which fair enough is unique and lovely, they only have 4XL and above, presumably waiting for stock from Vietnam. This has to be a significant chunk of profit for a Club of our size in the Prem. I can imagine there are several thousand people that buy it on Home Game 1 because of the buzz but now they are unable, will never bother to get the Shirt. It's not usually about the shirt itself unless a particularly nice one, you are just filled with optimism and joy on the 1st Home Game and the Club have spectacularly failed to capitalise. It's a good job we haven't signed the likes of Ronaldo or Messi, imagine not being able to get a replica United Kit with Ronnie on the back? This is a massive income stream for a Prem Club.

Thereis a massive shortage of clothing of almost any kind. My daughter works for tailors, spends all day telling her customers they have not got what they want and will not be getting it

In fairness to the club, although they are not entirely blameless, every retail outlet, from clubs, to supermarkets to high st/retail parks, there is a supply/logistics issue. Most LGV drivers, who were employed by agencies & european, have gone back 'home' or moved employment elsewhere. There are atm approx a shortfall of 2500 drivers in UK to date. I have an LGV license & would need to take a re-test to activate it, but, due to my age, its a no-no. So, even i cant help to deliver much needed goods to outlets.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

It’s happened before. Remember, this is Palace. We have a history in poor fan satisfaction off the pitch as well as on it. Organisational skills have been diabolical for a long time. When has there been cold drinks and enough food on the first home game of the season?

I don't think Palace are to blame here. Blame Covid or Brexit, even Puma are much more likely to be at fault.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

Rumour has it they aren't releasing the home kit until we win our first match - so the other side of Xmas seems more likely (OK, I'll get me coat)
