just being stupid. You can get 11-1 with one bookie for us to finish top ten. And we're just under 4-1 to beat the spuds next sat while Norwich are 6-1 to win at Arsenal same day. There's a double ... just over 25s. I am not encouraging gambling by the way, but wud be money better spent than on the lottery although it wouldn't be going to the heritage fund of course.

Hell, just goes to show what suckers gamblers can be.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Yea been thinking of chucking a score on us getting top 10.

Might wait a couple of games, assuming we're unlikely to get much from Spurs and Liverpool should make the odds even better.

It's significantly more than 25-1 isn't it, ex h? 3- 1 with 6-1 would be 27-1 while 4-1 with 6-1 would be 34-1.

19/4 x 7 = 119/4 = 29.25 so just over 28s, I did 15/4 x 7, silly me.

Nevertheless a tidy sum if it comes off!

Just thought I would pass on this piece of gossip make of it what you will.

My lady friend has a friend who works for the club in the office (not saying where) PV is well liked by the staff and is seen as a gentleman and all around top bloke. Always stops to chat to the staff.

Well done PV.

It’s a bit disconcerting how much I’m liking this man.
