Is there a longer free transfer and/or loan window? Or is it all over? I seem to remember frees could be done later, as could loans (short term? ), after the window had closed. But this was probably before the new, shorter window.

Loan players can only be brought in during the window now. Free agents can be hired at any time providing they were released before the window closed. Only player I'd consider from the free agents list is the winger Izquierdo who was at Brighton last season.

I don't think he would sign for Palace I can't see us even looking at going for anyone in that position SP is chummy with Ward and they may look at it as we have Clyne plus Ferguson making it 3 players that can play in that area (nothing to do with quality which I don't rate all 3 as Prem level) The same with left side.
