We live in a society where our Police have slowly been turned political and like many organisations now have people employed to promote ideological compliance. All part of the diversity industry. In this instance the Police are being used to push the alphabet ideologies. All this paid for out of public funds. To me all this is wholly wrong, the Police shouldn't be about a political stance, it should only be about addressing crime. It makes them look like clowns. Here a former PC displays his anger over the whole direction.

Police cars will always be painted, and the colour they are won't diminish their capacity to address crime. Indeed, addressing inclusiveness may well assist them. This then has nothing at all about the Police adopting a political stance. It's the politicians encouraging them to reflect the changing world we share.

Who had rainbow police cars on their ‘perpetually offended right wing snowflakes’ bingo card?

What on earth does this say about the direction society has taken over the years. Bobby on the beat with no more than a truncheon as a deterrent. There to help with directions or tell you the time. Responding quickly to a call for support following a reported incident. Now in full body armour and equipped with masses of paraphernalia including bodycams and guns. No longer responding if your home is wrecked and burgled. Hardly any visibility on our streets now unless they're driving a car looking like John Lennon's psychedelic Rolls Royce. I don't want my local police to be acting out political posturing. I want them to prevent crime, preferably, or at least solve it. Lads, the world's gone bonkers.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

Plenty of diversity in how the police respond to crime, shoplifters, burglaries and car theft they are not interested in. Rude words on social media they're on the way.
