According to Yorkshire live we are interested. Cant be a bad bet if Bielsa has been sniffing around him all summer. Looks a promising prospect.

It's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog.

Can't say I know too much about him but from what I've read he seems highly rated and if his 'highlights' videos are anything to go by he looks like an all action midfielder with a decent bit of quality to him. Would be another welcome addition.

... would be nice to steal another signing off of Leeds again as well.

I have seen Lewis O'Brien a few times.
Left-footed, he can play through the middle or out wide and has played at left wing-back at Huddersfield.
He certainly brings a work ethic and energy to his team, covering a lot of ground.

I was told that he has a good singing voice, and used to entertain his team-mates at Brad City, when he was there on loan, with soul classics!

Interesting one this given the rumour linking us with Will Hughes...are we in for both ?

According to someone purporting to be ITK, the Hughes deal is going ahead....

Out of the two I'd probably prefer O'Brien as he seems to have more potential. However signing either of them will give Schlupp competition in the middle and also mean that Schlupp can also be pencilled in as LB cover in case anything happens to Mitchell.

Lewis O'Brien 4 years younger than Hughes, has played his football in the Championship and League 1.
Will Hughes far more experienced and has played over 75 games in the PL.

From the limited amount I’ve seen of him he looks like a decent tackler with a strong left foot.
I suspect he could also be an option as a left back as well as in midfield.

And has come through the England academy.

But doesn't mean O'Brien is NVG.

Or that it has to be either/or (finance permitting).

That said, could this be nothing more than agent leverage?

He is versatile. Can play through the middle or out wide and has played at left-wing back at Huddersfield. He doesn't shy away from a tackle.

If true, Watford are bookies' favourites to finish bottom so I can understand Hughes' desire not to be on the Titanic. Again.

But we are also predicted to go down. A jump from the Titanic to the Lusitania? Does insider football nouse suggest players and their agents do not agree with the betting odds and the so called ITK pundits predicting doom?
