Great Assistants....most assists

interesting to note that Wayne Rooney is high on this AND ALSO on the list of all time Prem goal scorers. The Harry Kane's of this world get the glory, but surely the Assists deserve plaudits too. I would guess our stats for Zaha are good in this regard ?

Kane had the most assists in the league last season.

Not sure I like the assists stat. As I understand you could pass the ball to Zaha and he'd dribble through their entire team and score and you would get an assist. An assist for me is would be a pass that splits the defence and puts it on a plate for the striker.

Kane had the most assists in the league last season. He's an excellent team player really and has always had a lot of assists. He probably wasn't the best example. I doubt poachers like Lineker had many assists - nor probably Wright without Bright.
