Some clickbait to annoy Brighton: And an interesting article about Chelski youth: Begs the question, who would you want? I know there has been a few saying we need to strengthen at the back and in the midfield, but PV seems to be keen on bringing in youngster and both here have merit, albeit in different leagues. Edouard - powerful player and he's had Champions League football, but has he been tested at the top level? If Benteke can make it in the PL with hs effort, but then he can. Abraham - a good goal threat, but I honestly am not sure if we're the right team for him. Does he need players to lay it on a slab for him, which is what I see at Chelsea, especially when TA was on the pitch (Lampard era). Thoughts? If not these, then who? (Mods - I think I am in the right place with this thread?)

I'd be happy with either. Both an upgrade on what we have currently

Whilst Abraham is obviously a PL class striker, for the money involved (£40m fee, approx £80k wages) I would prefer Eduoard ( £15m fee and at moment earning £15k a week). I appreciate he hasn’t played in PL but came through PSG academy when Aigoun was there.

Personally I would be more than happy with either of these. Both know where the net is and with the right service could easily bang in 15-20 goals a season.

Apropos Abraham, Alan Shearer has commented that his movement in the box could be better and that he should be more confident on his weaker left foot.

Neither . Unless our whole pattern of play can be changed to accommodate them.

Never got the clamour surrounding Abraham. may not be as good a Benteke in his Pomp(but we don;t have that either), - and probably isn't as good a target man, but we need another striker in the squad, and will freshen things up. Looks Lively, and makes good runs. think he'll fit in well with zaha/eze/olise etc
