He's also reported Townsend to Everton before anyone else, as well as the goalkeeper from Sunderland. I think we can assume he has some kind of idea but was nowhere near Guehi. However, if this one is true it is exciting. I doubt too many of us know much about him, but another young British attacking talent within our side is positive.

I beat a certain poster to Wiki. England U16, U17, U18 and still in the U21. Not one to lead the line in every game. Something of a squad player with only 4 goals for the national team. However, that would be like getting the young Calvert-Lewin. Oh no! If this rumour is credible, I very much like what this club is doing. Buy players who have evolved through the new England academy system to add to players coming up through our new academy system. The trouble with this model (if you can call it "trouble" ) is that, if our academy continues to advance in the exponential way it has, the two sources may become the same! He hasn't exactly stuck around anywhere. If the 20 mil is including loads of add ons, fair enough. But I wouldn't be too keen on 20mil outright for someone who'll want to go to West Ham next year.

The E20M quote is apparently to scare off interest (if you believe one blog?). Club want to keep or else knock up the price (same blog). That said, not a high price even in current market for a young English striker who has worked his way up through the England academy system. If you add his local connection, the years in front and good sell-on potential, he's got to be worth the money if we have it. Unless he's rubbish.
