This lad wants to go out on loan apparently since he can’t get regular first team football at Chelski. He was MOTM against England the other day. Admittedly not a high bar but surely we should go for him

Could be guaranteed game which they need to improve/show what they can do. It’s a bit of a win/win for the player - go down and it’s not their fault; stay up and they look like a hero.

Agree with what you say but it must be disheartening getting smashed week in week out. Good for the soul if you can get through it mentally unscathed I would think, but you must carry some scars.

Yes, maybe the owner clubs look at it as character building but more likely the bigger clubs just don’t want to loan players to each other - why help potential rivals?

If you’re Chelski you want your youngster to gain first team experience and come back a better player. If as expected Favre is announced as our manager this week you’d have to think he would be an ideal choice to improve a kid like Gilmour. He has a track record for playing promising youngsters and turning them into big name players

After the way we treated Bats I don't expect Chelsea to do us any favours unless suits suits them.
