On those massive wages. - Joey Barton's fights on the pitch - Marlon King's fights with girls in nightclubs - Gazza/ George Best and the booze - Overpaid pundit jamie Carragher spitting at kids from his car - Glenn Hoddle the manager telling us that handicapped people had been evil in their previous lives. - Tiger Woods and his infamous 18 holes. what others ? Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

Emlyn Hughes went through an embarrassing phase of clutching his face and going to the ground to imply that he'd been struck by an opponent. He learnt this from the 'continentals' and South Americans. I suppose in English terms he was ahead of the times
