...but thin-skinned. Likely to be aggressive.

You may find them in every office, every neighbourhood and even on every Online football forum (but not HOL ), every Parliament and every pub.

Read the article and regale us with your stories, if you please.

Adolf Hitler - started a world war.

Donald Trump - would have started one given half a chance.

Both narcissistic.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Journalists warning about narcissism is just too much for me.

Left is right, up is down....the world was one way, then it was another.

It was the bees that give it away.

It's a scientifically proven fact that bees are attracted to narcissists.

Or is that hippies because of the flowers in their hair?

I can't remember, time to open a can of something.

Absurd comparison.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

I wholeheartedly agree that it's a silly comparison. At the same time they are both narcissists. I prefer Trump's variety personally, which was somewhat (thankfully) constrained by law. The ultimate grifter with the comic timing to rival any standup. Not self aware in a broad sense, but a genius in terms of getting what he wants.

working as a contractor, i've come into contact with a fair few ' difficult people'
one facilities manager used to carry amyl nitrate in his brief case along with 6 cans of lager.
Had the most immense capacity for drink & a penchant for violence.
would bully contractors into long drinking sessions then be peeved when they were off ill (dying of alcohol poisoning )

A site owner(block of flats in sussex) used to stay overnight in the flats he was building partying it up on coke n wizz with contractors.
spent much of his backers money on a porsche car & a property in france, along with various vanity projects.
suprisingly enogh the new build went belly up, knocking all the contractors for tens of thousands, several guys lost their homes
(I got off lightly 'only' being done for 20k !!)
Building trade is choca with narcissists.
However my wife used to work for JPMorgan, thats a different level.
the amount of bullys & mega bitches..

Agreed.

I think certain jobs attract certain personalities. I spent my career in banking but avoided certain areas as I did not want to work with those alpha type male and females. Bullying was rife in FX dealing for example that is where "loadsofmoney" comes from.

The vast majority of people who worked in banking are just your average nice person trying to make a living we never had Ferraris or smashed up restaurants.

absolutly badger.
Ive met loads via mrs KD, many i met were at least a decade younger than me but look totally fried now & older.
the bosses are pretty heartless.
One contracted me to paint his property , not knowing he had been my wifes boss (& been a proper c*** to her)
I charged him up & added a 500 quid 'drink' on which i gave to my wife to treat herself with.
Karma.

i recall a manager telling me on my first day ....

''the only golden rule in this place is that you do not screw the crew. So avoid all the fit birds in the typing pool and you will be fine''

it turns out he was the biggest rake in the whole building.
