I’ve noticed quite a few posters aren’t using full stops. More curious is that the word after where the full stop would be, the next word that the poster no doubt intends and knows is the start of the next sentence, starts with a capital letter. Is this a trend carrying over from the perceived rudeness of full stops in messages between youngsters, or have you hit or squirted something on your full stop keys? I thought full stops were left out when there wasn’t another sentence following that sentence in short phone messages, not leave them all out.

Not just full stops Rudi. Some posts have no punctuation marks at all. What happened to the comma, colon, semi-colon and question mark. Very rarely used. For some reason the exclamation mark is often in abundance.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

I don’t understand leaving out the full stop but having a capital letter after where the full stop should be. If typing on a phone the phone automatically changes it to a capital after a full stop and a space. Are we being tested when reading these passages with no full stops, keeping us on our toes, or some middle age rebellion but not too risky having the capital letter?
