According to the usual click bait sites we are interested, he wants to leave arsenal, and a swap including him and money for Zaha is possible. One site reckons AMN could be valued at £20m, leaving arsenal with only £30m to find to meet Zaha's valuation, once they offer us the player as part of the deal. No thanks. I'm sure he has good good days but I've only ever seen him play badly, sometimes very. Classic example of a player being massively over rated and over priced simply because he is young, English and from the academy of a big club.

No, thank you. I have never been impressed with Maitland-Niles. Against us in the 0-0 draw at the Emirates he was very disappointing and was taken off after 65 mins. Edited by Willo (08 Apr 2021 8.48am)

not a Bad player - but another that hasn't really kicked on since breaking into the arsenal Squad. 20m is a tad high valuation. I would say he's no more than a 10-15m player. but I guess that's what 'young, english and from a top 6 club' does to your Price tag.

Him and Reiss Nelson plus 25m and add ons for Zaha. Then I'd start to think about it.

Edited by Willo (08 Apr 2021 8.48am) There are stories that Man Utd signed Roy Keane and later on, Cristiano ROnaldo on the advice of their own players, who were impressed having played against them. As you rightly say Willo, no danger of that happening in this case. AMN was our best player in that nil nil against Arsenal. Every time he got involved in the game he caused Arsenal serious problems. As for his performance for WBA, you are being polite in describing him as 'anonymous', unless that's French for 'crap'. Literally no better than Townsend or Ayew, and possibly worse. Just younger that's all.

Seen several sources in the last day or so linking us with AM-N again. I notice that Arsenal have been playing him in his favoured midfield role in pre-season. As he has also featured as FB might he be the other loan option or is it the usual click-bait nonsense? I've not heard anything from the more reliable sources.

We should be all over joe Willock from the Gooners. I think he'd rather come to us than go to Geordies again. Goal scoring midfielder like him would be a fab signing.

AMN is in the news today as he posted on his Instagram that he wants to go where he's wanted and gonna play If he's satisfied being a right back or right wing back, then we should be looking at this. Apparently Everton are too and they want him as back up/competition to Seamus Coleman [Tweet Link]
