Just watching this guy for Sheffield United. He's class and only 20. With our aging squad we need to be more ambitious looking to the future and signing youngsters like him with so much potential. Especially as he is a centre back...

Ampadu was a striker in his youth and came through at Exeter as a midfielder.He is equally comfortable in defence or in midfield.He has played in a back three and prefers to play down the left in this defensive setup. At 14 he was recommended for the England youth setup but they said he took too few touches and they were looking for players who wanted to take more touches.

There's only so many players we can borrow from Chelsea. One in fact. Gallagher, RLC, Ampadu, Batshuyi... Who's it going to be?

However, whenever I watch Fulham he either doesn’t start or is the player they take off around the 70 minute mark. He doesn’t seem to be able to play a whole 90 mins which is worrying for someone his age.
