I see that the new US administration is just as bad as the old by refusing to send that murdering bitch Sacoolas back to the UK to face trial .

I almost get it in a way as a nation state stance. Much like how Russia never extradite anyone. That's not of course to deny the fact that this person and those who eased the path of her escape are wholly without principle. This woman is a coward, deserving of being haunted by her deeds and of not doing the reasonable and responsible thing in the face of the damage she did.

At least the right noises are now being made "The suspect in the death of Harry Dunn would be willing to do community service and make a "contribution" in his memory, her lawyer has said. Mr Dunn, 19, died in a crash near RAF Croughton in Northamptonshire in 2019. Amy Jeffress, the lawyer for suspect Anne Sacoolas, who returned to the United States claiming diplomatic immunity, said such a crash would not be prosecuted criminally in the US. Harry's mother, Charlotte Charles, said she must face "the UK justice system." Ms Jeffress added that her client "never denied that this was her fault". (BBC website) Unfortunately for Sacoolas, she doesn't get to choose her 'punishment', IF found guilty in a court of law. That's for the judge. Edited by Forest Hillbilly (09 Mar 2021 8.23am)

Edited by Forest Hillbilly (09 Mar 2021 8.23am) They're trying to say that killing someone whilst driving on the wrong side of the road and driving away and then fleeing the country, would not be prosecuted in the USA? It's been known to have been classified as murder, certainly manslaughter.

Well things have taken a seemingly positive turn. "US national Anne Sacoolas is to face magistrates in the UK charged with causing the death of motorcyclist Harry Dunn by dangerous driving. Mr Dunn, 19, died when his motorbike was in a crash with a car near RAF Croughton, Northamptonshire, on 27 August, 2019. The case would be heard at Westminster Magistrates' Court on 18 January, the Crown Prosecution Service said." (BBC website) I wonder what kind of justice this will be ? It won't be an Epstein type ending,.. I think it will be more along the lines of G.Maxwell, and "things happened, but go away quietly and don't let us see you again"

I agree with all the sentiment, but it was not murder.
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

I suppose there are several questions. Has a (financial/non-disclosure) deal already been done ? If this were to stop at the Magistrates, their powers are limited and likely be a fine and driving ban. In theory this should then go to County court, and beyond, who have appropriate increased financial and custodial powers. There should also be a charge of seeking to pervert/swerving the course of justice,..should there not ?

I suspect there's a deal here too, don't you? My main question would be - does Dunn's family know?
