This is the young lad we almost signed a while back (before injury scuppered the transfer) and who is supposedly back on our radar. I would actually love this to happen. His goal scoring record is not fantastic, but for much of his short career he has been on the wing. What excites me about the idea of this signing is that he is quick, tricky and good in the air. He has similarities to Sarr but at a fraction of the cost. I find it odd that Fiorentina would be looking to move him on so quick, but in the current financial climate it could be they just need the money; or this could all be pure media speculation.

Recovered from 'a serious knee injury'? So:
- how strong will that knee be?
- How committed is the player when it comes to tackling or the threat of being tackled?
- how does his pre- and post- injury form compare?
I suppose if Wickham and Sakho are out the door in the summer they'll need at least one replacement in the treatment room, especially if Ferguson starts feeling lonely in there.

Sorry, but I'm not convinced that its worth the risk.

Not that I'm suggesting he is the next Thierry Henry, but players of his ilk (ie quick and skillful) often start out on the wing limiting their goal-scoring opportunities then hopefully as they develop they transition into the middle. Obviously we shouldn't sign him if there are any doubts about his knee, but personally I just think he could be a really good signing.
