Dead

Sad news.

I know he didn’t enjoy the best of health as a manager but 73 is pretty young.

Thoughts are with his family

Such very sad news.
All we keep hearing recently is the sad news of well-known people passing away.

Gerald Houllier has had heart problems for many years and the football world will mourn the passing of a great manager.God rest his soul.RIP.

My thoughts go out to all his family and friends.

Put together a very decent Liverpool side in the late 90s/early 00s and made them somewhat relevant in an era dominated by United and Arsenal.

Shame a glut of average signings (Anthony Le Tallec anyone?) downed him as potentially they could have won a title in that era with good additions.

He sounded like a good fella whenever I saw him on the tv. Lots of his old players saying really good things about him. Helped build up a good Liverpool team when they won the FA, league and UEFA(Europa now) cup in 2001.

RIP. Condolences to his friends and family.
