Another good sub-titled Italian drama series, that was out before Gomorrah, but is quite similar, is Romanzo Criminale. It follows the lives of a group of lads as they become involved, and then rise up through the Mafia ranks. No doubt about 10 years old now, but should be available on some obscure channel or other.

I actually went to start watching series 1 last night, but after just finishing narcos on Netflix, I didn’t fancy another subtitled series just yet. Even though I like subtitled stuff because it helps me get into a series and I never miss what’s being said, but this’ll be one for the new year for me

I watched the 2 hour documentary last night, and will start watching series 5 tonight. It was interesting to hear that the dialogue used in Gomorrah is actually Scampian not Neopolitan.
