It is time for Boris to be taken to one side and told some home truths about how to run a country and how not too. The constant question dodging and semantics in most Govt spokespersons answers are embarrassing to anyone who voted for them. Unless things change there will be a record reduction in Tory seats at the next election and only a break up in Labour might save us.
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

There will be a proper right wing party in the next election similar to the AFD in Germany. The threat to the Tories is from the right and not the left and the Tories know it. You will see them pandering more and more to various minorities in order to try and address this.

Surely you task civil servants with going direct to manufacteurs or wholesalers? I struggle with huge aspects of all Government, at every level, procurement. On a much smaller level I once saw a bill presented to a leaseholder of an ex-council property for over £8000 for double glazing. He spoke to the contractors actually doing the work who were being paid £1200. The difference in the two was quite staggering.

I seems that if you get a substantial 'bung' from your tory mates to provide PPE or something, then the whole thing doesn't even get off the ground, you don't have to worry. You just go back to source for another substantial bung to top you up for Christmas.

If you thought you were getting a choice when you vote you are sadly mistaken.

You see they are saying that they paid out all this money (BJ is proud of it) yet they cannot afford to provide hungry children with meals.

Really, who? There are a number of potential candidates but I actually think a new one will surface in the next year or two closely modelling the success of the AFD.

Another whining Lefty thread. Business involves middlemen, sweeteners and all the rest and always has. The money involved is tiny in the grand scheme.
