Mór is 'big' in Irish, the Irish Morag would be Maura or Maureen, Maura may have been Mauragh in the past with a soft gh in Irish. That's probably where Morag comes from. Plus some rubbish soap, what was it? Take the High Road? Bloody awful anyway.

From wikipedia: His Jewish ancestors are of Hungarian extraction, coming from Kolozsvár, Kingdom of Hungary (present-day Cluj-Napoca, Romania). Maybe they changed his family name when they emigrated to Canada.
