So Sky, as expected have generously decided to make matches pay per view. So if your team is not in the standard programme you will now have to pay yet more money to see your team.

So let me have a stab at a guess as to the only winners here. Yes, you guessed it, Sky will be earning more than ever before.

Now if they offered to donate this money to help out the clubs outside the PL then that might be a different matter, but I can’t see that happening, can you?

I’m actually cancelling SKY sports

Even boxing is pay per view and they aren’t even decent fights.

When Palace play I go to pub anyways

£15 is a f@cking Liberty

Hopefully they will realise they will make a s*** load more money by televising Palace, Fulham, Soton etc and thus putting the top 5 clubs matches on ppv. Fingers crossed.

Interestingly, their 1st PPV match is Newcastle v Manure(their darlings, same as bbc). What happens if you do not have a sky box or a bt one, how do you access games & £15 is still cheaper than a matchday ticket.

Now, totally agree with posters on here, its just another way of appeasing the 'powers that be' in letting the gullible sport starved public access things at a cost. I havent had sky for many a year & although i have bt, i cancelled bt sport midway throgh the pandemic(end of april) because they wouldnt refund/pause my payments till everything got back to normal.

Out here in Spain, i dont have those constraints & its so easy to access/watch matches its great(tho i still hate watching Palace on tv)

Charge the populous instead of players agreeing a pay cut. Count me out. What do lower tier clubs get? Nothing I expect.

Absolutely. All you hear is we are thinking of fans, like f*** they are. All but 1 (Leicester) PL Clubs voted for this. Fans of teams like Palace will have to pay nearly 3 times as much as Man Utd etc.
However Sky will earn less so wtf

I've never failed to find a free stream. What's the fuss? If you're too lazy to search for one, that's you're own problem, not Sky's. I'll never have Sky or BT Sport or any other subscription service. They all take the piss.
