My daughter may be applying for a job in Didcot, is there anyone who can advise on the area and what places close by would be best to househunt.

She may or may not be applying for a job and you are already arranging housing! PS: let me know where she ends up living

Well, apart from the very nice power station that dominates the landscape its not that bad. Princes Risborough would be better(imo). Williams GP Team has moved away from the area, tho you do have Harwell down the road in Chilton if you like a 'secret' Govt instalation. Wallingford is nearby, A34 & M40 close guess it depends on work. Of course Oxford being the largest City is fairly close, but, thats like driving from Croydon in to central London.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

I have a relation who lives in Didcot has now been living there for about 8yrs bought a house on one of the those large new housing estates. Sticky back cardboard & paper houses. In my opinion it’s a Craphole sorry say.

If your daughter can drive and doesn't mind a commute she should look further a field than Didcot.
