Always liked this bloke and he seems to talk a lot of sense, anybody heard his latest on socialism? Basically, Sir David, good friend of our future king, the king after him and the king after him, has said that somethings got to give at the top to be filtered down to the bottom in society, something I have thought , especially in the past 5 years in London. He is on about the super wealthy, so no need to pull up your matress just yet, but i think the chancellor, Riki,or RICHI, might be a tad concerned, seems like a good bloke btw the chancellor, but his 2 billion , yes, 2000 million, might be a little greedy, as he asked us to spend our hard earned to kick start the economy!

Do you remember the winter of discontent? I was very young but my dad was on a 3 day week as he worked for the council as a dust man. Wildcat strikes and forced out by the unions.

Dont mind riki to be fair, probably the next pm when boris disappears to California, but you only have to drive around Kensington and Chelsea to see how much some people have, and others don"t have a pot to pizz in, obviously only the stinking rich, not us workers! Yeah, i remember the 70"s, had a march through Croydon, thousands, what do we want? The right to work! when do we want it? NOW! The way this countrys heading, we better learn the words!

A pause for breath and an occasional full stop may make your post a little easier to read 👍

It was fun as a kid but probably difficult for adults. I lived in a Bromley council flat at the time. I can vividly remember a family dying from hypothermia, which just seems crazy in modern Britain. I won't tell the kids that story.

D Yeah, mostly Russian that way and arabs knightsbridge way, the english money is further north in the cotswolds, they have been priced out of London. His parents did indeed do a great job, but i wouldn"t begrudge him and her family paying a little more in to the pot!Society is on the way down, and something has to give, sir david was spot on!
