Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Really? Again? Are there going to be new threads after every defeat?
Moderators should better start closing threads and start banging cards...

When it's a performance like that yes. I dont think I've ever seen such a negative performance my whole life.
Against man utd we attacked them from the start, closed them down from the front played on the front foot. Roy took the accolades because he said they may not be fit, etc.
Chelsea desperately needed to win this game. They had 5 new players on the pitch, including a goalkeeper (,who touched the ball more times than zaha). Why didn't we close them down quickly, play on the front foot, might have caused them a few problems. But no, sit back on the edge of our box for 90 mins, and when you're 3-0 down, replace your 2 defensive midfielders with.....2 defensive midfielders .can you imagine any other manager doing that? Pathetic

That will mean mods will be closing down threads after every game!

And yellow cards for people who disagree with you? Have a look at yourself. It's bad enough people complaining that other players should get booked. What kind of Echo chamber do you want to create.

Today was a free hit for Roy, and he got it all wrong. Chelsea haven't been as bad recently ad people have made out, they were just playing without a keeper up until now. Calling for him to be sacked after today's game is harsh. But he has only beaten two teams that were drastically underprepared got to play in the last 12.

Nothing but 3 points from both Brighton and Fulham will be good enough for me.

Thé premier league is an up or out league. Ambition less performances like these are Roys specialty. Playing for draws, narrow losses or lucky narrow wins won’t cut the mustard. Our cumulative results under Roy have always been less than sum of our parts. It’s time for Roy to go before disillusionment sets on our better players

I think that due to Chelsea's last game, we were always going to be up against it. They were highly organized and high energy.
On our side we are still missing what we would consider our first line of defense, and it showed in the mistakes today.

I think the JM's looked out of sorts today, they could not support any kind of attack and chelsea's organization put paid to everything else.

But much of the game was played on left most quarter of the field !!! Roy gotta fix this 1 channel football.

Chelsea were just a lot better today.

It happens in football and I'm quite optimistic about our squad and some of the prospects like Banks.

The premiership future for Palace has always been about how we play when Zaha goes. The fact that we get beaten by good teams now and then is inevitable.

The day when we have a massive quality stadium with massive attendances perhaps we can expect more....until then.
