(Curse my fat clumsy fingers, you beat me by a second) Seems like a very specific target, rather than some random shooting. Edited by Forest Hillbilly (25 Sep 2020 9.00am)

No details of the shooter yet, so I guess we can draw our own conclusions...

Edited by Forest Hillbilly (25 Sep 2020 9.00am) He was already in custody and is critical in hospital. If he was in the custody suite how did he have access to a firearm.? Wrestled from Officer or softly softly approach to searching? Either scenario is very worrying.

According to bbc & others the shhoter was arrested somewhere put into a van & driven to custody ctr in Windmill Rd. Shot the officer then shot himself, both taken to hospital, where the officer died.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

And some politicians complain about police heavy handiness. This is why, they never know what situation they are getting into.

I hope there is a minute or two silence at tomorrows game to show respect for the officer - after all, Police Lives Matter.

Just awful and I'm in shock to be honest. I knew the officer involved and worked with them for a number of years at Croydon. Just unbelievable.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |
