Tom-the-eagle Flag Croydon 24 Sep 20 10.10pm

Any ideas lads?

Ever since I bought the Mrs a Dyson for her birthday I’ve been in the doghouse. Would like to do something special for her.

Let her have the remote for the evening then go up the pub. Win win.
Failing that earrings seem to work.

She doesn’t have pierced ears Teddy, it’s a Jewish thing.

Very thoughtful. There might even be a Betamax or two available on Ebay. No half measures. I suspect she was offended by the new fangled nature of a Dyson. Some old media and maybe an abacus as an added extra should bring her around.

I visited Mrs H on the maternity ward bearing gifts from the garden centre, and is regularly the subject of conversation.

That was 39 years ago and Mother-in-laws Tongue.

My tip: don't go there.

In view of the problem you had recently, how about this?

She can then use the Dyson to tidy up afterwards!
