One for the development squad. Released by Bristol City.

I guess I may be as confused as anyone else may beas to why one player is released by a club and then gets picked up elsewhere, like we have done with Brandon Aveiro. I guess it is down to the specific views of the Development Squad coaches or scouts.

Any one seen Taylor play? When could he be ready? What did he weigh at birth Willo?

I think both cases show how at that age and level it is very difficult to determine if a player is going to succeed, I guess it is a matter of personal opinion of the coaches.

Bristol will only be able to avoid a small development squad so he was probably on the bubble which suggests they think their other prospects are better.

As for our guy no idea never heard of him.

Sad person that I am I have trawled the internet and have come up with this mini-nugget care of the Bristol Post. It seems he was let go before lockdown. Bristol City do seem to have a huge amount of talent. To his credit he got his head down during lockdown and won himself a trial at Palace. He seems to be a 'powerful box to box midfielder' Good for him.

Not at all! I reckon you've made a little more effort than Dougie this side of our Centenary.

Guess this lad was one of the "trialist" players in the early friendly games.

The number 10 in the picture scored and won a penalty in one of the games. Anyone know who this is and if he is likely to be signed ? (Bristol live image )

Eberechi Eze was released by Arsenal, Millwall before making it at QPR.

I think he also had a trial at Bristol City ironically but wasn't taken on.

Our own shortly to be released Aveiro,is apparently on trial with West Ham and is being looked at by both Everton and Sporting.
Scored 6 goals in his last 7 games, which caught their attention and a very rare event for a Palace striker, other than Sorloth.
