This message is dedicated to the fella I know who curries favour with hundreds of people worldwide. In order to get free accommodation on all his travels.

Sofa-surfing and too mean to buy a cup of coffee for all his hosts. Well, it looks like his reputation just got busted...The little rabbits have rumbled the wolf who is parasitic off them.

What other stories u got of misers ? Either famous or people u know personally ?

Are you referring to social media influencers? Or as I like to call them "Online Beggars".

I quite agree if I ran a business these people must be a pest, "give me a free lunch at your restaurant or I will tell my "friends" not to dine there."

I loved the guy in Greece or Spain who tells them "no you can't have a free meal but if you pay for it I will donate the fee to a local charity and you can score points with your friends by telling them that". He never hears from them again.

Luckily most of these idiots exaggerate your influence and many of their friends are bought and paid for fakes so their influence is not that great. Of course if Kim Kardashian rocked up to your place you might rethink your policy for her.

I know someone off the HOL who took absolute liberties while enjoying free accommodation in south London, then borrowed money and fcked-orf back to Australia. You have to be on your 'PALACE' GUARD.

An ex-friend of mine once put money into a poppy-collectors box,....then asked for change.

How low can you go ?

I know an old friend who in the 80s used to ask his girlfriend to put 10P in the box whenever she needed to use his home phone.

This same chap used to arrive at parties with a bottle of wine which of course was welcome to the hosts, hide the bottle, take it home and then take it to another party and repeat his actions. This same bottle of wine was taken to several parties!

He also used to latch on to someone at the bar buying a round in the hope that he was offered a drink. Never got away with it with me, in fact I called him a "Joiner" adding that whenever someone is buying a round he joins them! He was tighter than a camel's backside in a sandstorm.

My ex work colleague who attended my leaving do because I still owed him a pint from a round bought 6 months earlier.

God bless his good memory after the hang over. As tight as a hen's hole.

2001 I was working in Edinburgh with a colleague. We went to "The Fantasy Bar" for some entertainment. We were going for a "dance" with some ladies , when we decided to up-grade to a lesbo experience.
My mate asked for a receipt afterwards,...and the company paid up

and that really fcked me off, because I paid for dinner earlier, and then couldn't submit my receipt.

Fond memories

I worked with a fella who apparently drove a first date to a party and ask for her share of the petrol money. I know he used to charge his electric tooth brush at work, he was a Brighton supporter too.

A now deceased pal of mine, a bachelor with his own house and a good pension (and a Palace season ticket holder) used his visits to Wetherspoons as an opportunity to stock up on sachets of salt, ketchup, etc.
