Here we go again! The Holmesdaleship is back!

The Fantasy Premier League is gearing up for 2020/21 and is now ready to accept entries for the new season. Once again, any interested Palace fans among the HOL members are welcome to join our own head-to-head league.

While there was no limit to the number of entrants last year, a maximum of 20 people will be able to enter the league this season. If you would like to be one of the 20, please visit the site via the above link and enter the code at the top of this post to enter while places are still available.

Each FPL team will play a head-to-head fixture against another in the league every week. The results will be based on the FPL Gameweek points scored by the actual players selected, with points being awarded to each FPL team for wins and draws accordingly, just as they would be in actual Premier League matches.

The league will operate on a round robin basis throughout the whole of the 2020/21 Premier League season, which is due to kick-off on Saturday, 12 September 2020. No cup or knockout rounds will be involved.

Entry is as always FREE of charge, and though there is no prize money at stake there are still bragging rights to be won. There will also be three points up for grabs every week, so you will always have at least something to play for from the start of the season right to the very end.

Though the HOL attracts fans from all clubs to its website and welcomes their input, please note that this league has been set up for members who are Crystal Palace FC supporters only and that those who choose to take part do so on that understanding. With millions of registered users worldwide and countless supporter groups online, there will be many alternative leagues for followers of all teams to join on the FPL site. Thank you.

One week left for all FPL entries!

Once again, please note this league has been set up for Palace fans on the HOL and that those who take part do so on that understanding. Your respect of this reminder is greatly appreciated, particularly as places are limited to only 20 this season. There will however be a host of alternative leagues available for supporters of all clubs to join on the FPL site. Thank you, and apologies for any disappointment caused.

I can’t understand how some of those who joined yesterday mysteriously vanished without trace, but don’t want that to discourage others from trying to join. Please feel free then to enter your FPL team, and let me know if you experience any technical difficulties so we can try and get them ironed out before Saturday. Alternatively, you may prefer to email FPL Support about any problems yourself, whose contact details can be found on the website.
