It is now undisputed that Police could not see inside car because of tinted windows Human error entered wrong plate number Butler video was edited to try and give impression she was driving. The driver appears white in skin colour. Media especially Sky News who were constantly repeating the Butler video have ignored this and ignored the Met response. Butler is divisive and seems to be suffering from lack of airtime since being demoted by Starmer. For Starmer to sit by as a Labour MP acts like this without comment is shameful. Vented and feeling better.
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

What grates is that she is financed by taxpayers. I would be equally outraged if a Tory or Lib Dem or any MP did the same thing as Butler.

In politics yes. On the outside I would like to think quite a few have integrity. No worse than a majority us in our conduct would be a better description.

I agree with the Police Federation if the public and the media are going to make a big deal about every stop and search releasing their video version then the police should release the body cam footage. If I was a front line officer I would be fuming at the lack of defence of their officers. In fairness a senior Met officer has now spoken up but without the power of video so who's listening.

That she has been ridiculed on social media and outed for the heavily edited video you would have thought that was that ,file it under nothing to see here and move along . Unfortunately on LBC this morning Sad Kant has been holding her up as an esteemed member of society ,an excellent MP and that she made a fuss over the stop because she was sticking up for the little man . Funny how the story changes but I guess thats the secret of becoming an MP , having the answers even if they are made up answers .

Funny I could have sworn the little man had nothing to do with it, it was all about stirring up racial hatred towards the police. Khan is increasingly making himself look a complete racist t***

Expecting to see a full apology to everyone involved from Butler and Sad Khant anytime now. but I won't hold my breath! Fact is that people like Butler look for the slightest little thing to get her bigoted views across and her left wing/liberal luvvies at the Beeb and Sly News love to pump it out for her and her kind. As for Starmer, he a complete t*** that is now making himself look foolish after his short honeymoon period as Jeezers replacement. Edited by fromtherope (13 Aug 2020 11.45am)
I am enjoying being back at Selhurst and having a beer with my mates just like we have done for the past 40 years. Through Thick and thin we stick with our club. Not chairman, players or managers, OUR CLUB! |

I rather like Dawn Butler. British politics, especially now, needs people like her. Drives more people over to the Right. We should be encouraging more behaviour like this.

I'm just finishing a biography of Clemente Attlee, I don't agree with his politics but I admire him for his principles, honesty and most of all his intergrity. When he retired in the 1950's he publicly bemoaned the following about Labour MPS. In his era 1900-1940's they went into politics because they saw how the poor in their area were treated and wanted to do something about it. Most of them were Trade Unionists or equivalent man of the people types. Anyway he now complained that MPs went into the HOP because they enjoyed the power (and this was back in the fifties.) I think he was right then and even more right right now. Attlee by the way although middle class spent 2 decades working amongst the poor in Limehouse which then led to him becoming their MP. Today it is straight out of university into a nice cushy party job that daddy MP has lined up for them whilst they wait for a seat to become available. We could do with a man of integrity like Attlee instead we have Flashman or the other twerp.

It does make you wonder what men like Attlee and Kier Hardie would have made of current events.
