Edouard for me, the more experienced striker of the two and from what I've seen has more ability. I'd be happy with either though.

Can't confess to having in depth experience of watching Watkins but did watch Brentford's last four games. Struggled to see the hype really although I acknowledge he has scored quite a few this season. Seen Edouard a few times and he looks a good striker
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Be happy with either. Feel like Watkins could be a bit more versatile so that could help us but sadly I can’t see us getting either. I’m leaning towards Watkins as I feel like he has only started playing striker in the last couple of years and his rapid development has been incredible.

Watched Watkins in the last 5 full televised Brentford matches... Not sure what all the fuss is about. I don't think he is as good as Dwight Gayle, and he can't score when he moves from Champ to Prem. Edouard on the other hand is top notch, and will end up at a bigger club than Palace I am afraid.

Watched Watkins being bullied by defenders tonight. He is too lightweight for the big league. Edouard a much better player but likely to cost significantly more. Mc Carthusian plus cash would be a great deal.

Neithwr. Both are good players, but Edouard isn't worth 35-40 million and Watkins isn't worth 20-25.

I don’t know much about Edouard but have seen Watkins play live as well as the Brentford TV games at the end of the season.
