Sad his career went off the rails due to mental health issues possibly brought on by drugs from what I can remember. I think he found fame to be an albatross pardon the pun. RIP Edited by Badger11 (25 Jul 2020 5.27pm)

Time for him to go his own way.. Didn’t he go missing for years? Brilliant guitarist. RIP

The man who inspired me to pick up a guitar and learn how to play the blues. Who knows what he could have achieved without his terrible mental health problems. RIP Peter Greenbaum.

I’ve heard it said that he could reduce grown men to tears with the wonderful tone and soulful expression in his distinctive guitar playing. I’m sure many fans will shed a few more after hearing of the passing of Peter Green. A brilliant and hugely influential guitarist whose music will live on for generations. Truly one of the greats.

Very sad to hear this news. I saw Fleetwood Mac just the once when they played one of the very early free concerts in Hyde Parl in 1968. It always amazed me how the early hardcore blues Mac transformed into the mega successful middle of the road rock outfit of the 70s.
