I make that 4 years of dour home performances, would be nice just to get the ball in the opposing penalty box in the first 45 mins, so for me YES....

Sadly I think it is. Watching on telly without the constant discussion that surrounds you during a game brings the game into stronger focus. We were woeful. Not all Roy's fault but he is the man in charge.

Wilf not with it at all and he should not play gain to give others a chance and to try different approaches, Milo's passing was awful, Townsend looked lost, frankly no one was up for it.

In a game we should have won and with the tough ones coming up Europe was never going to happen. Get the kids out now and let them experience the premiership. This is the perfect chance.

I am enjoying being back at Selhurst and having a beer with my mates just like we have done for the past 40 years. Through Thick and thin we stick with our club. Not chairman, players or managers, OUR CLUB!

Yes - If we have decent replacement already lined up
No - If we do not.

If Dyche is available this summer I think we should go for him, Roy is not getting any younger and the idea of a transition period or handover never works. You end up employing the best manager you can at the time you need them.

If Dyche is not available I am happy for Roy to continue for next season and then review.

We are not the only ones thinking along these lines. If I were Manchester United I would be thinking about Poch because he is available now end of next season he may not be.

I think a Palace Supporter who has managed two national teams, and got us where we are with no money, is OK in my book.

Either that or dig up Malcolm Allison...

At the end of this season, Hodgson will have kept us up on a 'Shoestring' for 3 seasons.

A club of our stature surviving in the promised land of the PL for successive seasons with a limited spend. Hardly surprising that Hodgson was offered a new contract.
The entertainment value is at a premium but the objective is survival and Hodgson has delivered on this score. He will not be jettisoned by the Board.

Yes. He has worked wonders with a limited budget however he has no flexibility in him. If he could change things when they are not working then I would say stay as long as you like, but he is set in his ways and it makes for very dull football.

Don't get me wrong, when we are up in a game there is no-one better at shutting up shop, but when we are chasing or he feels that we will be outclassed by better opposition then it is invariably awful from minute 1 to 90+

The defensive shape he works so hard on is obviously very good however the rest is boring us rigid.

My only caveat to all this is that we have not really backed him in the transfer market, but having said that he had a fair few quid at Liverpool to play with and that didn't really help his cause.

Hodgson's signings at Liverpool :

Brad Jones £2.5 Mill, Paul Konchesky part-exchange, Danny Wilson £2 Mill rising to £5 Mill, Christian Poulsen £4.5 Mill rising to £5.5 Mill,Joe Cole Free, with the most expensive Raul Meireles at £11 Mill.
No major spending.

Yes from me - and I know exactly what I wish for.
A team that shows some attacking intent at home, allows the midfielders to run beyond the forwards occasionally, works on set pieces and is willing to play 2 up front as a change e.g when we fall behind.
Nothing too radical but not likely under the present msnager

Yeh those well sought after qualities of 'Palace supporter' and 'experience of managing another team' - no wonder we play such dullarse football if those are the pre-requisites
