I really want to get into mountain biking and I'm thinking about getting a bike. Does anyone know any good deals for a decent enough bike that's not too expensive? Also I don't have anywhere inside to keep a bike. Does anyone know of its safe weather wise to keep it in my garden all year round if it had a cover over it? Like would the cold/heat effect it if it had a sheet over the top?

A friend had his bike stolen 4 times (different one every time) on the last occasion from kitchen his house and bike were all padlocked up. These little bar stewards know that bikes are the go to thing to steal. Anyway good luck.

Depends on the conditions. In Ireland you still get rust from the condensation. The water in the air basically. My bike is wrecked from that and needs an overhaul.

As a starter bike, I'd go with this. You could get a little shed from £100.

Speak to Duncan at Wallington Cycles, family run business and all Palace fans too, When I was in the UK I worked there on & off for years. What kind of Mountain biking you want to do? XC, Trails, DH? Trail centres you should take a look at are Swinley bike park, Hadleigh or further afield is Bike Park wales which is by far the best trail centre in Britain. If you want more full on DH trails (im talking full face helmet body armour etc) then Aston Hill is what you want be warned however than can be pretty full on it is however the stuff that I do & I love it. Also dont leave your bike outside in the elements, the components will rot in no time. Edited by Ouzo Dan (04 Jul 2020 3.15pm)
