Our beloved Palace lost the cup final to those glory hunting t***s.

Great day out beforehand but pretty somber on train home.

Do wonder if I will ever see us lift a major trophy.

Not sure about everyone else, but to me it seems a lot longer than four years ago but then again, a lot has happened in my life since.

F@cling love being Palace.

my pals went really early, I didn’t want to get to pissed so went up on my own. Went to the barrow boy and banker at LB. bumped into a mate (not a football mate, just a pal that was in there) , had about 8 pints in there before getting the to the ground.
The plan never really worked.
Great day, sh*t result.
Would love another cup final.

Right now I’d settle for a run of the mill premiership game mate.

Would love to see us one day lift something though.

I've still never watched the game again even when puncheon scored I couldn't fully enjoy it so convinced that we would f*** it up I think the 90 cup final scarred me psychologically

walking down the holmesdale road to see the palace aces!

Ditto mate. Can’t bring myself to watch.

One thing that I do remember clearly is how quiet Man U fans were. Literally all the noise was from our half of the stadium.

The atmosphere before the game was great around I had 5 pints at Charing cross another 5 at marleybone then a few inside Wembley it was our big day whereas the mancs didn't really seem bothered it was just another game to them which made it worse

A great day out with not so great an outcome. We out-sang the United fans all the way through, and hardly heard them till they equalised.

Overall, I probably enjoyed the semi-final more simply because we won, and had the anticipation of the final to come.

A strange day full of joy and sadness... Really thought we would do it... I hate watching there equaliser... It was such a poor goal to give away..

I made a point of taking my 15 year old daughter as my view was we might not make a final again for many years.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

Yes it was just the same as 1990 in that regard.

For me it was so galling how we let potato head run the show when IMO he wasn't 'all that' any more. But then we repeated the felony in this season's tie against Derby.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)
