Hi All, As you are all most likely aware, following the press release from Crystal Palace, my friend and colleague Ian Reynolds passed away last week from COVID-19. He worked for the London Ambulance Service for 32 years, and he has been leading the palace pitch recovery team for years (for which I have worked on). The link is: Thank you so much. Hopefully his family will be eligible for the £60,000 death from Coronavirus benefit announced by Matt Hancock yesterday for front line workers

Terrible news. He sounds like a very selfless individual , so I'm sure his family will appreciate this kind gesture. As Midlands says there's a chance his family may be entitled to government. Let's hope so, people need all the help they can get at times like this.

Thought it only fair to bump this up as it is a fellow member of the Palace family. The Just Giving page is still open - RIP Ian.

Presumably/hopefully he was a member of the pension scheme, which pays life assurance benefits and a spouse's pension based on final salary. Any extra would, no doubt, be appreciated.
