does anybody know the original version of this song? Not the football song. The actual song.

The children sing it in Italy during preschool, and i wanted to know the original version in English.

I found it awhile back, its quite old. But now i cant find it again and ive been looking all over Google for it.

Any help would be extremely grateful.

It was called The Prisoners Song written in 1924.

If I had the wings of a sparrow if I had the arse of a cow i'd fly over Brighton tomorrow and S*** on those bar stewards below.

Aaaaah is it that one is it?

I did find that one but couldn't sing the verse to the tune so didn't think it was this was.

Also the Italian version have changed the words, but kept the melody.

I thought the original song was called "My Bonnie"
My Bonnie sounds much closer to the song chanted on the terraces than the The Prisoners Song song. Or are they both the same? Im confused.
