Just seen that they are streamlining during this outbreak. Link anyone What I heard was that ALL broadcasters are doing this. Like everyone else they are going to have significant numbers self isolating, or having to stay at home, in the coming weeks. So they need to adjust.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

The Daily Politics seemed odd with only two guests. PMQs will be interesting today as apart from anything else Corbyn shouldn't be there but should be self isolating at home. Perhaps PMQs could be held over Skype

Perhaps PMQs could be held over Skype Common-sense cost-cutting measures are being implemented in many companies and organisations, that should have perhaps curtailed their lavish indulgences earlier , without the catalyst of cronavirus. MP's would protest at the loss of attendance allowance, but seeing as they just voted themselves a massive pay-rise a couple of weeks ago (they slipped that under the radar), it should lessen the financial impact.

any more examples of the LGBT-Feminist-multicultural agenda being rammed down our collective throats today ? how will they use Corona-virus to push back the envelope ? ''hey folks, with loads of elderly's dying and leaving their houses vacant...lets open up the gates at the Calais jungle to allow all those male migrants into the country....lots of space for them now'' ? chance would be a fine thing. the BBC. What Thatcher would have called 'the enemy within'.

We still await the announcement that Piers Morgan has gone into self-isolation. For forty years.

Alan Kurdi, the 2 year old washed up on the beach in 2015, turns out to have been killed by three Turkish men. His image was used by the BBC and all other western media to guilt trip Europeans in to accepting millions of Middle Easterners in to Europe.

I am as anti BBC as the next man when it's justified but you are talking about a very poignant image that was used to portray the dangers the migrants faced in fleeing their country which is exactly what the remit of BBC news is supposed to be

Their desperation and the fact they were willing to put their children's lives at risk to get to Europe, as their countries were so bad, was part of the propaganda, and this was the biggest piece of said propaganda. They must have (or should have if they'd done their job of being a journalist properly) known back then that he didn't die from randomly falling off of a boat, but they failed to disclose this information.
