Great news Utd going for it. Lets hope the government use common sense and proceed with this.

A lot of people prefer to stand and it simply cannot be policed. Safe standing areas are far safer than persistent standing in seated areas.

Should improve atmospheres too which is much needed in England.

I’m not too sure that safe standing will improve the atmosphere much in the premier league. There are a lot of sections in grounds where people stand and grounds are still pretty quiet

Most of the games I've seen on TV seem to have few sitting behind the goals, so it is a case of 'unsafe standing' already widely in operation ..
