i suspect the sectarian problems will start to disappear once the people of the island (north and south) start waking up to the real enemy.

The Shinners got trounced in the local elections. Their 'refugees welcome here' slogans were duly noted. In a country with the worst Housing crisis in our recorded history, Sinn Fein are about as likable as the BBC. Sinn Fein banging on about abortion and wimmins rights managed to alienate the party from its core voter....who didn't bother to vote. Corbyn...Sinn Fein. Beardy Marxist lunatics

The whole population has viciously turned on Fianna Fail and Fine Gael....the two big ruling parties. It was a golden opportunihty, a once in a lifetime opportunity, for any alternative party to just walk into government. And did the Shinners ? did they @rse. Their Social Justice Warrior shyte made them unelectable. I am broadly tolerant of LGBT and all that, but not before breakfast when i got a hangover thanks very much. And in order to take Ulster from the Prods, the shinners have decided to recruit the ethnic vote. Sound like any other beardy red party you know ? Instead of seeking compromise or agreement with the DUP the Shinners would prefer to set Sadiq Khan up as minister for Gaelic-Education in Belfast. Not a very popular tactic on the Falls Road ( nor the Shankill) And as for the antiSemitism of Corbyn ? ask a Shinner about Israel and observe their eyes bulge with anger.

To be fair, practically the whole of Ireland dislikes Israel, I would leave that as uniquely SF.
