Salako for PM he has a point.

I heard a heart breaking tale on the radio of woman who is a full time carer for her disabled husband and doesn't qualify for most of the benefits. A friend has a family of scrounger neighbours they are all at it.

It always seem that the good decent people get screwed, the rich don't care as they don't need it and the scum are taking home sack loads of money.

This country is paid for by the decent working / middle classes who are too polite to say enough what do I get for all my taxes.

One more point

This sums it up for me as well. My mother who passed away a few years back wasn't entitled to any sort of government help when she had cancer of which she later died of, but hey ho bowl up to the dole office when you haven't so much as pissed in a pot & everything is on the table for you.
That's probably exaggerating the point but there is certainly a perception that people are taking the piss

The unemployment rate is at 3.8 percent. ....though we know that clever accounting means that figure isn't a true reflection.

While you will always have abusers of the system that's also true for all levels of society.

Non European Immigration policies that allow chain migration have worsened things that's certainly true...and it's a growing percentage.

Sadly, he fails on his first point. So no, not really.

More than 25% of all income tax revenue is paid by the top 1% of taxpayers.

Compared with European countries, the UK stands out most in its relatively light taxation of middle earners' incomes. Rates for high earners are closer to those seen elsewhere.
