Just had a gift card for Google play, I don't see anything of interest to spend it on ? Seems like a waste these gift card with limits to where you can spend and expiry dates, and endless terms and conditions Dont others hate them like me?

Worst case is when you are given them and the shop goes bust 3 days later

A stairway to Heaven and a Highway to Hell give some indication of expected traffic numbers

You beat me to it Becky.

By the way if anyone has vouchers, gift cards or loyalty points with Clintons or Boot you might want to cash them in. (Just rumours of course).

Always got given at least 3 for xmas by aunts/uncles. Just as well, I loved reading

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

I can't see the point of gift vouchers for specific shops. They're so restrictive, and as others have said quite risky in regards to the shop going bust.
If you want to give gift vouchers then at least the recipient is likely to be able to buy what they want from someone like Amazon or Love The High Street.

Gift cards? No way.

Postal Orders are the way to go.

They are fantastic, just received £1,000 worth for Love2shop vouchers from my employer. You use an online portal to choose which vouchers you want for a multitude of outlets and print them off.

What’s not to like.

They are no hassle at all for the person giving them as a present.

Good for you I hope your family enjoy their Christmas.

In 35 years of working I never got a Christmas bonus. I did get bonuses normally in the spring but I always wanted one at Christmas something my firm never did.

Enjoy.

So over to the forum do you get a Christmas bonus? have they stopped? never did it?

So do all my neighbours and they don't need it. I love the moaning pensioners who plead poverty and then complain about the amount of tax they pay.
