Do you have a few or to few to mention?

Personally I find storing regret to be a destructive and pointless emotion, that said, I still have some.

Many years ago now I met a South African lass who was over here visiting her friend in London. We went out a couple of times, all very innocent. No one before or since ever made me feel like this young lady (and she didn't even do a turn!)

When she returned home we wrote for a year or two (for any millennial reading this that's like texting but on paper) and I planned to go and visit her but somehow life ended up overtaking me and I never did make it out there and eventually we just lost touch.

I always wondered what happened to her and to this day still regret not following it through.

In addition I also regret the amount of people I have hurt. Particularly when I was younger. Most who never deserved it. Its fair to say I haven't always lived the best life and maybe what goes around comes around.

PS
Now I know that my son sometimes goes on here so boy if you're reading this then make sure you keep schtum to your mum about any of the above if you still want a season ticket next year.

Only regret's are really to do with women and missed opportunities. In my younger days I was a bit slow on the uptake and didn't read signals to well.

A classic one being on a night out in the West End I got chatting to a couple of hot Aussie birds who were flatmates and after chatting to them for a while they invited me back to their place for some drinks. As I was only about 18/19 and they were about 10 years older and my mate had just got a round in I rejected their offer and stayed where I was. A terrible mistake I still think about 30 years after the event

Most blokes would have a girl; woman regret.
I've got one I did follow through which will haunt me forever.
One I didnt 36 years ago.
Hindsight is a bitch when you wonder why you didnt use it.

Only one... I was a very good gymnast in my younger days and at 16 represented England twice which was the proudest moments of my life...

I gave it up as the draw of missing out on going out with my mates drinking and trying to finger girls became to much... This was about 1994 and gymnastics was an amateur sport back then that offered hardly any financial incentive

I was training every evening and for 6 hours on a Saturday and I stopped just like that... Massive regret.. Could I have made to the Olympics?? Well I’ll never know.. But it’s the one thing that still at 41 plays on my mind

But on the plus side you got drunk a lot and fingered a lot of women right?
