I don’t really mind the weeks of disruption, it’s the singing I can’t stand.

The usual celebrity suspects tweeting their support this morning. Somebody pointed out that several of them had recently done a BA ad. I know I know they're entitled to earn a living and that's exactly what the poor folk who trying to do the same only can't get around London because of these idiots. The ER mob have no choice it's the only thing they can do just like the civil rights movement. Err actually no it's not. Dr King was fighting to get his people the vote civil protest was his only option. The ER could become a political party and campaign for change yeah but democracy is boring and doesn't work (you mean you don't get you way sometimes). Remainers are fond of saying that Cameron only called a referendum because the Tories were scared of UKIP a good example of a fringe group that forced its policy to get attention by Parliament. The ER mob could do the same but as they are led by hard core left that's not on the agenda.

I think you’re being fairly harsh - I think there’s a very fair argument to say our democracy “doesn’t work” or certainly doesn’t work efficiently, based on recent evidence, don’t you think? How long did it take Eurosceptics to garner sufficient support to get a vote? I’d suggest that ER’s approach is aiming for some quicker results, given they view it as genuine emergency with obvious time constraints. I got held up travelling to work the last time they did it; it was annoying and I was inconvenienced, but I’m sure they’d argue it was worth it - even as the ‘victim’, based on the amount of publicity for their cause it generated, I’d find it hard to disagree.

Isn't it raining, probably protesting in a pub if it's really chucking it down.

It's virtue signalling of the highest order. They can't get the votes and are not prepared to put in the hard work to gather the political support. There are plenty of practical campaigns they could start to make their point e.g. highlight companies using too much plastic, start a tree planting campaign, start a walk to school campaign, pick up some litter (how much will they leave when they go?). They would rather have a party at our expense. It's not the cause I hate just these people according to the report tonight it's more like a festival only problem is that it still inconveniences the public, they could have held it in Hyde Park. How many of these people will go on abroad for holiday? My Yoga teacher is one of them and she is organising a retreat in Costa Rica not sure how she justifies that.

Maybe she is thinking of going by paddleboard.

I used to laugh at you doing yoga until you mentioned you were the only bloke at your recent yoga retreat. Now you’re my hero.
