I am starting to use cash more now as I feel if cash goes we could loose a lot of freedom, and jobs could be lost, eg, printing money, collecting real money and distributing money.

Only if you are a tradesman/ small business owner and can’t get away with cash in hand jobs anymore.

Society will arguably benefit due to increased declared revenue.

I’d be interested to know how much is lost in the Black economy with undeclared income seeing as it’s going to be taxed with indirect taxes, mainly value added tax. Ok the indirect taxes will be lower, but if the person spends everything they would’ve paid in direct taxes then there’s more money circulating. I expect where this falls down is that so much of spending goes in mortgage payments to lenders but the surplus in undeclared will still be spent somewhere here, unless on holiday abroad.

It feels wrong paying for a cut loaf at the local co-op on a debit card. Easy though.

Also lots of money that leaves the country or gets lost down drains or stuck in the back of sofas, every penny will be accounted for.

Sorry but your reasons to keep using cash sound ridiculous.

I’m sure there are plenty of good arguments to use cash but not to protect the jobs of people who ‘collect real money’. What does that even mean?

Cashless is part of automation. How many till staff do you see these days? How many bank tellers? Cinema staff etc etc etc. Keeps costs and prices down though.

I was once offered sex by 2 girlies in exchange for decorating their bedrooms in a flat.
Me & my mate dirty dave rode the 2 of em (and never done the job)
however he paid in full when he returned for seconds & banging her from behind she stepped back & put her stiletto through his bare foot.

Kids, tired of being bothered by your pesky parents?
Then leave home, get a job & pay your own bills, while you still know everything.
