There some discussions Ward, Schlupp, PWA are out injured, there could be up to 7 first teamers now unavailable.
What have you heard?

Based on the Colchester result, I'm going to have to say all of them.

As far as I'm aware there are only two current injuries, Tomkins and Sakho. I've not seen any "discussions" of any other injuries.

This is normally pretty accurate and says only Tomkins and Sakho

Hodgson said PVA and Ward weren't available for Colchester and that that's why Riedewald and Woods had to play (out of position) as full backs.

Some media reported that they had niggles. Time will tell what that means. Sakho is back in early training, it seems. Tomkins appears longer term and a little mysterious.

I hope Hodgson has a cunning plan for if Ward gets injured (and that it's not playing Kelly there).

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

Early retirement perhaps?

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

I sincerely hope if Ward gets injured that Hodgson doesn't get stick from the supporters as I really don't believe that it's his fault that we didn't get cover

Music to my ears as he seems the only option to get anything moving out of defence. Just need the midfield to be doing the same where there are more options.

Dann has been added as well. Perhaps we do need all of those CB's after all ?

One web site is suggesting we will line up against Villa with Reidewald at left back and Sam Woods at right back. I’m guessing that will be an easy 3 points for Villa if true.

Also shows the terrible inadequacies in our squad, ie no direct like for like replacements for Ward and PVA. This will come back to bite us in the backside.

Why would we do that?
